Today, May 9th, we would like to honor the birthday of the irreplaceable Erik Stenberg, who today would be 39 years young. Erik touched the lives of everyone he met with his irrepressible spirit, kind heart, wisdom, generosity, time, and insight. It is hard to imagine more wonderful qualities all present in one human being, and today his former students, colleagues, and friends in the TL community hold Erik and his family in our hearts. We remember with gratitude the gift of his life to all of us. We miss and love you, Erik.

Mr. Stenberg was a mentor and a friend. When I heard of his passing, I was deeply sadden. I hoped he knew how important he was to his students, his friends, and his friends.
