I’ve been an avid Star Trek for a while now, and date the trailer for the new Star Trek movie, Star Trek Beyond, was released. The movie stars are all the members from the two previous members; Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness. The one exception to this new movie is that J.J. Abrams was not directing it, because he decided to take upon Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The director was Justin Lin, who directed four Fast and Furious movies including Fast and The Furious 6. The trailer was complete garbage. There was no structure. Basically it was all over the place with the song “Sabotage” by Beastie Boys playing in the background.The song distracted me from trailer. There was no plot and it didn’t even show the main villain, Idris Elba. After doing some research it was reported that “the trailer for Star Trek Beyond, the third in the franchise, has been leaked online. Or rather, a German edition of the trailer has,” according to Polygon.com. This is understandable now, since they had to throw a trailer together because the footage got leaked in Germany. Hopefully the movie will be better than the trailer and hopefully they release another full length trailer actually showing what happens.
