Dear Sarai,
Is this school haunted or otherwise tied to supernatural events?
Sincerely,
Curiosity might have killed the cat
Dear Curiosity might have killed the cat,
As far as I know, there are absolutely no supernatural beings at TL, currently. Interestingly enough though, in 1975, a girl at Terra Linda High School talked her boyfriend into killing her adoptive mother, which resulted in the boyfriend killing the adoptive father as well. While the murder took place 40 years ago both students are still suffering from the consequences. The boy, 19 at the time, was originally charged with the death penalty, but it later changed to life in prison without parole. He is currently fighting for his freedom, claiming that he is not a threat to society. Luckily they are not roaming our hallways anymore. If you’re interested in finding out more about TL’s past killers, you can look up the barbecue killers of TL 1975.
Sincerely,
Sarai
Dear Sarai,
My best friend hasn’t been hanging out with me lately, I’m afraid she’s angry with me. What should I do?
Sincerely,
In desperate need for my friend back
Dear In desperate need for my friend back,
I suggest you to stop making assumptions and confront your best friend about what’s going on. She could have something going on that she doesn’t want to talk about, hence why she’s avoiding you. It could possibly be that you’ve done something to anger her, in which case you’d need to fix things.Talk to her and find out what’s going on; you can’t make things better without knowing if there was ever anything wrong in the first place.
Sincerely,
Sarai
Dear Sarai,
I’m usually a good student, but since the school year started it seems that I’ve been having an extremely hard time managing my time. I play sports and have other commitments, everything is piling up leaving little to no time for homework. What can I do so that I don’t continue having a problem with time management?
Sincerely,
Stressed and in distress
Dear Stressed and in distress,
PRIORITIZE. I can’t stress that enough. What do you need to do? What needs to get done? You know how much time you have and how much you have to get done. Work fast, but efficiently. If it doesn’t need to be done immediately, don’t do it. However, you don’t want to wait until the last minute, or you’ll end up with a massive amount of work. Is it possible to miss a practice here and there? If you can, do it. Don’t worry about coach getting mad. After all, you do need to keep up your grade point average in order to play. You should also plan ahead if you know you have something coming up. See if you can finish your work in advance, so your plans don’t get in the way. You don’t want to stress too much; take a break, relax. You won’t get anything done if you don’t.
Sincerely,
Sarai
