Tv playing here,
Little kitten purring there,
All around the room.
The soft smell of food,
And the fizzing of sodas,
Making me happy.
My food on my lap,
Tasting clouds as i eat fries
Popcorn when I’m done.
The cat on my lap,
Talking up a very large storm,
Scratching the blanket.
The feeling of fluff,
Relaxing and calming me,
Comforting my back.
My mother comes in,
Annoys me to death with words,
And leaves me in peace.
The tv volume,
Once quiet, now like a train,
Burning my ears off.
My mother comes back,
Woken up from sleeping with Rae,
For the dog has peed.
I am forced from comfort,
And drag Rae outside to pee,
And run back inside.
I curl up once again,
Into the soft place with Cat,
And relax again.
For the place I live,
As comfy as it may be,
I will love that couch.
